Trying to find Hampton

I am trying to trace my great grandfather George Spilman Hampton. All I know about him is that he is on my grandfathers marriage certificate. My grandfather was born to Annie Miller on 28.6.1883 at Belle Grove Bexley Kent. He married Agnes Elizabeth Mills on the 25th April 1912 at Fulham. His father is recirded as deceased. My grandfathers birth certificate tells me his name was Ernest Silvester Hampton Miller, although throughout his life he called himself Thomas Ernest Silvester Hampton. There is no fathers name on the birth certificate - I wonder if his father was indeed called Hampton. Any information would be gratefully received |
