In 1836 at York West Riding Quarter Sessions, John Brown was convicted of Ships Robbery. For this he was sentenced to 7 years and transported to Sydney. According to the convict indents he was born about 1815 and a native of Norfolk England. I am wondering if he has an relatives still in England. I do not have his exact date of birth nor do I know who his parents were or if he had any brothers and sisters. In 1841 he married Susannah Eleanor Seymour at Paterson, NSW, Australia then later he changed his name to William Charles Brown. He is known as Tinker Brown.
