Hi, I am trying to find descendants of Thomas Secombe and Isabella McClelland. Thomas was born abt 1809, Polruon, Cornwall and Isabella was born abt 1810, Wigtownshire, Scotland. I have found their children as follows:- William McClelland Secombe b.1833, Whithorn Scot. Alexander Secombe b. abt 1840, Wigtown Mark Secombe/Seccombe b. 1842, Whithorn Elizabeth H. Secombe b.abt 1843 ? Andrew Seacombe/Seccombe b. 1847, Portaferry, Co.Down,Ireland Their other two sons I am interested in are, but can't find any trace of after their birth are :- John Seacombe b. 1851 and Louis Seacombe b. 1852. They were both born at Roddens C/guard Station, Ballywalter, Co. Down Ireland. Their father was a serving C/G at the time. Thomas Secombe the father died in 1862 while still serving as a C/G and is buried in the grounds of Balligan Church of Ireland, Parish of Innisharge Co. Down. Maureen in Australia There may well be more children whom I have not as yet traced. I do have quite a lot of information on the first five mentioned above and would like to share it with other members of the family.
