Anne-Marie Hamerslag Hello I am trying to find information about my grandfather Leonard Harold Young born c1900. His first wife was Lilian Violet Young formerly Belch and they had two children John and Mary. I believe they came from the Cinderford, or Forest of Dean area. During the war he served in the RAF at RAF Norton Disney. Around this time he met my Gran. He divorced Lilian and married Ada White in 1948 they had a daughter together Yvonne (my Mother). Leonard died when my Mother was young in 1954 aged 53yrs and so very little is known about Leonard or other members of his family. I think he had a sister Gladys and ?born either around Cinderford of Fullam. I keep hitting lots of brick walls, if anyone thinks they may be able to help I would love to hear from them.
