Trying to find Gordon

A French connection ? I'm trying to find my great-aunt Kate FARNISH (b. 1871, Suffolk) who I believe was married to Alfred Edward GORDON in Woolwich, London in 1895. I think they had two children - Contance Lilian GORDON (b.1896, Otley Suffolk), and Alfred Arthur GORDON (b. 1897 in France). They are shown as visitors on the 1901 Census for Ashbocking Suffolk, visiting their Grandmother Mary Ann CATTERMOLE (married twice), but Constance is incorrectly shown as a Cattermole, not a Gordon. Some of my information comes from the family Bible, which unfortunately does not go into any great detail. I know my g. aunt Kate lived in France until the start of WW2, and she was on the stage out there. If anyone can come up with any information, I would be very grateful. |
