Hi Querying if anyone visits Matlock Research Centre and who may kindly check 2 births for me. I visited the UK last October and spent a few hours at the Centre, resulting in great discoveries for me. While one of my finds was the deaths of g/g/g/grandfather and g/g/g/grandmother, I did not have the opportunity to search for births. Names are : John Stones, b.c. 1783, d. 10/1854, Parish of Eckington, buried at St Peter & St Paul. I am assuming the church would not be holding records. My other search is for Rachel (Rachael) Willcock b.c 1792. She and John married at Killamarsh, Derbyshire. I have been unable to locate a death date for Rachel, but she is on the 1861 census at Old Lane and states place of birth as Killamarsh. As an Aussie the trip was one of a lifetime and may be a long time before I return to the UK. Thank you so much, if anyone is able to help. Jill
