Hi my name is Ann. I am looking for relatives of my mother Margaret Mary Jones. Her father i think was Welsh, and he was a policeman, She lived in East London i think, and her mother was called Martha. She had 6 or 7 brothers and sisters. One sister, younger was called Pat, and she lived near the sea down south. There was a great uncle Henry, who lived with her, he was stone deaf, and i remember he used a Trumpet to hear by. My mum went into the army at 17. She later visited Berlin where she was the first female red cap to be there after the war. She was also stationed in Brussels too. After the war, she became a prison officer in Holloway for a while. Later she lived in Reading, working for the FBIS, for the American Govt. She married my father Francis George Cooper on the 4th Ocotober 1954. I was born in 1957. She later left my father in 1960 with me, and later remarried happily. My mother was an extraordinary woman, and did loads of different things with her life. She later had another daughter called Sally, my sister. She came to live opposite me and i had 5 glorious years with her before she passed away in 2001. She is buried in High Spen, Tyne and Wear. I feel i have had loads of relatives, cousins, uncles and aunties i have never known. I would love to hear from any of you now. Thanks. Ann.18/05/2007
