Trying to find any additional infomation on a George ALDRIDGE born abt 1847. His father was also called George and may of been a gamekeeper. George married Sarah Williamson in Durham on 8/2/1879 and their first child, Sarah Ann (my g gran) was born in Kensington on 30/12/1879, where George was working as a 'horsekeeper' The family moved back to Durham city and two more children were born: William abt 1884 Mary E abt 1891. By 1891 Sarah was a widow, George dying sometime between 1881-1891. He never appears on any census with Sarah either! I don't know anything about George or where he came from, does anybody recognise the family? Sue
