I am trying to find information about James McPHERSON, born circa 1813, who married Jean ROBERTSON, born circa 1818, on 22 November 1840 in Blairgowrie parish. This couple emigrated on 5 February 1841 to New Zealand, later moving to Australia. James' parents' names were William and Helen. I also seek information about another couple, William McPHERSON, born circa 1811, and Ann ROBERTSON, born circa 1813, who emigrated by the same ship (the Kathleen Stewart Forbes). They could possibly be the couple who married at Cargill on 17 January 1841.
