I'm trying to find out what happened to MARY ELIZABETH JOHNSON NEE; STOKES who was last seen in ST JOHN'S RD., TOTTENHAM in 1936. Her parents were GEORGE STOKES AND ROSE EMMA STOKES and they lived in ISLINGTON at POPHAM RD and ESSEX RD between 1919-1939. It has been a family mystery and my mother is very anxious to find out what happened to her. After being told that she'd died my mother has recently been told that she left with another man and had TWINS. If you are a twin with a mother called Mary Elizabeth nee Stokes or Johnson and wonder if we are connected please contact me.
