My Grandmother, Bessie Antell was born at Ebbw Vale. South Wales on the 4th November, 1902. Her father was Arthur Antell, born at Somerset. UK. in 1876. Her mother was Elizabeth Ann Jones b.1873 at Ebbw Vale. They were married at Bedwelty in Dec.1898. Bessie's brothers and sisters were: Frederick b.1900,Stanley b.1904,John,Margaret,Emily,Violet and Mary. Stanley's daughter, Moira Price nee Antell visited my family in Australia in 1994 but due to a death in her family we lost contact with them. I would like to hear from any Antell's who might be related. Bessie married Edmund Day from Abertillery. My mother Eva Mary Day was born in Ebbw Vale in 1923, the Day or Cooper Day family migrated to Australia in 1925. Peter Cullen. |
