Looking for ancestors of Peter Fyfe, born about 1830 in Scotland (probably Forfarshire). Married Jean Todd (b. Apr 1827 in Scotland) The info I have re their marriage is 'before 1854, in Ireland'. Peter emigrated to Canada with his brother Robertson Fyfe (so the family story goes) in about 1855, and they both settled in Minto, Wellington County, Ontario. Another brother, John Fyfe, immigrated around 1865-70 and settled in Kincardine, Bruce County, Ontario. The censuses show all three brothers as born in Scotland. Ontario marriage records for Robertson and John Fyfe list their parents as James Fyfe and Margaret Stewart. I believe that they lived in Forfarshire.
