Hi, I'm trying to find any Bezer's (also spelt Beazer, Bezzer, Beezer, Beazor, Bizer!) from Frome, Somerset, where ALFRED HENRY BEZER was born in 1839. I don't know if he had any siblings. His parents were JOHN BEZER & HARRIETTE WITHY. Alfred married Anna (Annie) Mary Jones in Frome in 1862 then they moved to Yorkshire & had 6 children GERTRUDE H (Annie) c1865, ELLEN MARY (Nellie) c1969, AMY CONSTANCE 1871, ALFRED JOHN 1872, WALTER HENRY 1875 & LUCY ELIZABETH 1877. AMY CONSTANCE BEZER moved from Yorkshire to London & married WILLIAM ERNEST BATEMAN in 1909 & they remained in London until she died in c1954. They had 2 children, GRACE CONSTANCE & FREDA OLIVE ELIZABETH. Any information would be gratefully received -the Bezer's seem difficult to trace! Many thanks, Red |
