I am trying to find information on my grandparents John Alexander Campbell and Mary Anne (Minnie) Campbell both born in Londonderry N.I. in 1892. Their parents were Matthew Campbell and Fanny Faulkner and Frances Corner and Mary Hunter. Their parents Matthew Campbell (grandmother's unknown) were both born in Scotland. Matthew is believed to have worked in the shipyards near Dumbarton ? John and Minnie migrated to Australia in 1919. Matthew died in 1899 and Fanny remarried a man by the name of Harris. He died and she emigrated to Australia in 1952. I have hit a brick wall regarding both Irish and Scottish records and I am really hoping someone out there has some info to help me. Cheers Glenda |
