Hi can anyone help ? Cowans - John Cowan married to Jane Syme 31 December 1874 children Elizabeth Renton Brown Wright 20 September at time of her birth John was Coalminerand his mother -in -law Elizabeth Syme made her mark to register the birth. Jane Cowan 1879 New Lanark. We also found Robert Cowan married to Elizabeth Cooley 15 December 1848 Barony Lanark their children John Mcmillan Cowan 16 February 1859 Calton Glasgow Robert Sheilds Cowan 14 February 1861 Calton Glasgow Elizabeth 14 July 1855 Calton Glasgow Elizabeth 3 July 1857 Calton Glasgow Elizabeth 13 April 1863. |
