I am seeking information on the descendants of SAMUEL HIRST Born York Leeds (according to 1871 census) 1800 / 1801. He died in Devon in 1882. He lived in Yorkshire,London,Vienna, Prussia and Devon. He had children with two wives over a 50 year span as follows Berkenhought born 1829 Bishop Monkton, Catalina born 1828 Bishop Monkton, John hurst Born 1840 Preuben, Betsy born Hackney 1848, Emily 1846 Vienna, Emma 1838 North Cave, Elijah Immanuel born Devon 1874. All surname hirst, sometimes appears as Hurst. We believe his father was a yorkshire jeweller, successful enough to send his son to Cambridge and fund a very comfortable lifestyle. There may be more children possible Matilda. Any links or leads appreciated. |
