Sharon Duffill The Porters are on my fathers sidee of family and we are stuckhave found great grandfather Robert 1874 - June 1930 married to Elizabeth Renton Brown Cowan 20 September 1875 - June 1951 they married 2 April Chalmers Free Church 1897 children where May,James, George, Christina(my grandmother) 16 August 1913 - March 1998, Robert 29 April1905,Jean & Helen 1896, Elizabeth Brown Wright 9 October 1901she was born at 326 South Wellington Street Glasgow. Roberts parents where George Porter 1844 & Mary Phililips 10 October 1844 Alvah , Banff they married 9 December 1865 Alvah ,Banff children where George McKenzie Porter 2 August 1870 Alvah Banff he died 29 October 1900 he married Annie Jack Blackley1895 , Robert 1874 Alvah Banff WilliamPorter 1866 Marnoch Banff , Helen Porter 1879 Glasgow she married Patrick McAllister 1901 Gorbals. |
