RICHARD REES Please does anybody recognise the following. RICHARD REES born approx 1870 in Llangyfelach,West Glamorgan, Wales to PHILLIP and ELIZABETH REES. They moved to Clydach and then Richard left for America.He sailed aboard the Germanic and arrived in Ellis Island on the 13th of March 1896, aged 24. Richard then settled in Pensylvania. He married a lady that we know as HANNAH and had 2 sons, that we are aware of.( There may also be a daughter) Richard returned to COEDYWILYM FARM for his father's funeral. He was 58 by this time. We have a wonderful photo of all the brothers and sisters with their spouses. In it is Richard and his wife, but on the Ellis Island records for his return to America there is no mention of Hannah. The records also state that he was returning to Hamilton, South Sharon, South Carolina. I have been unable to find this family and I am now desperate.If anyone should know of this family please could you get in touch. Many thanks.
