Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 6 Send Message	looking for info on grandad john thompson alexander. father william scott alexander,mother mary ann thompson. john was born 4/5/1911 north of england (carlisle)but family setteled in musselburgh scotland . he sighned up for 1st battalion royal scots 1928 -1944 he was a german pow from 40 to 44. his wife was mary whyte from west calder married dec 1933 had two sons william (billy) 1937 james 1939 they lived in edinburgh.any information would be great thank you.
