Hi, Trying to find Richard Hill on census records 1861, 1851 and 1841. Richard Hill born abt 1840 Wigan, Lancs, married an Elizabeth Atherton 6 May 1861. He was at the time of his marriage living with his father John or James (Names are hard to read) in Hallgate/Wallgate or Tallgate, Wigan. Both Richard and his father John were coal miners. I believe Richard had a brother James born abt 1843 Wigan. Found Richard, Elizabeth and there children Richard, Alice, Robert, Mary Jane, John, Phoebe and James in 1871 and 1881 census, He seem to have disappear in the early census records. Any information would be a big help cause I've hit a brick wall. Thank you |
