I am looking for John Dickason or Dickerson who was, presumably, born in Necton, Norfolk about 1800. The Census of Easton for 1851 (aged 50),and 1861 (aged 62) both give birth place as Necton, Norfolk. He was the father of Horace Dickason b 1835 in Easton, Norfolk. He married Marianne Parsons in 1833 in Barford, Norfolk, and died in Easton, Norfolk in 1869 (gives age as 74). There is a family of Dickason's in Necton Parish Registers and Archdeacon's Transcripts for 1793 - 1812 with no luck, although very difficult to read, but no John! The IGI has lots of Dickersons in Necton, but no John around 1800 I would be grateful if anyone has any information. |
