My father was called Peter Dyson and he was born in 1936 in Tanfield Lea in County Durham, England. He moved to Whitley Bay and became a teacher in Gosforth. He died in 2001 in Windermere. I know very little about his family and would like to meet some relations and get some questions answered. His father was called Alan Burgoyne Dyson ( born 1907 died 1960) and his mother was called Elizabeth May Humphrey ( born 1906 died 1975). They were married on 24th December 1928 in Tanfield Lea. Both were born in County Durham. Alan was the borough treasurer in Whitley Bay. Alan's mother was called Barbara Ann Dyson, and his father was called James. |
