Hi susan I have John James Soldiers record book and on it , it Say's mother Elizabeth Thompson living at 12 Bank street Halifax

my grandfather John James Thompson was born in kendal in 1879 his mother was called Elizabeth and his father was John William . My grandfather married my grandmother also from kendal she was called Lily Dixon and lived in Taylow Row in kendal ,has anyone any more information about John James Thompson or his father John William Thompson as I have come to a blank wall,I can not find any more out about them.
