Hi Lori
We had spoken before regarding our interest in Isabell Bain I think. Any way I came across some info on your family today.

John Bain married to Anne Mackenzie, Gairloch. They had the following Children:

Alexandrina Bain b. 17 May 1856

John Bain b. 3 Aug 1858

Isabell Bain b. 22 Jan 1861

Hello, I am trying to track down my scottish relatives. There is a John Bain, born 1858, Sands of Gairloch, father John Bain (stonemason) and mother Anne McKenzie. I have no information regarding siblings, although I am sure there were some. The younger John Bain emigrated to Australia (not sure when) and married there to an Anne (or Anna) McFarland in 1894. They had 13 children, one died in the same year she was born. If you think we might be related, or you have some insight into the parents, I would appreciate hearing from you. Hector and John Bain are recurring names in the tree.
