Hi I found a James Forrest (Land Agent at LLanelli Carmarthen..His wife was a Judith .Census shows she came from I O M . Hope this may help.as My G G Grandfather was James Forrest Married to a Janet Burns Son John born 1836....The fore mentioned James my have been my James but was he Married twice???that is a leading question. my g/father maried a margaret cumming in edinburgh in 1900 i think he was from isle of man my g g/father thomas forrest was married to a mary connor no date he was i think also from isle of man,both were employed as cabman on g/fathers marraige certificate,any imfo on forrest family isle of man would be very helpful. |
