Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 38 Send Message	I'm trying to establish a link. In my family tree a John Stocking married Susannah Mennear/Mynheer in Kidderminster in 1764. Susnnah came from Devon (Paignton). Her surname seems to me to indicate a Dutch or Flemish origin. Kidderminster is a carpet -making town. Could there be a link there? Please help. I have no idea why a man from Kidderminster would marry a woman from Devon other than through some sort of business connection. Any ideas? Jenny
