Hi stephen , my ggggrandfather he married susan after his first wife susan hatcher died , william and susan had walter , florence, fred , william , they lived in sturminsternewton dorset where they ended up in the poor house as william had deserted his wife and children , he was imprisoned for this offence the first three children left to work but susan and william were in the poor house untill williams uncle took susan and young william in , all we know about susan parents is they were probly in the workhouse as well and came from the sturminster area , hope this helps ray |

LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON A SUSAN JEANES AND HER PARENTS AND SIBLINGS AS AT PRESENT COME TO A COMPLETE HALT SHE WAS BORN IN 1855 IN DORSET LATER SHE MARRIED WILLIAM LANE MY G GRANDAD ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT AS I HAVE NOTHING ON MY TREE REGARDING THE JEANES FAMILY |
