I have recently joined this site and have just found your message. You may already have found the answer.

If not I can offer two possible details for Elizabeth's marriage. (I have over several years created a massive data base with all Tregunna entries from the GRO indexes)

The only marriage I have listed in mid 1880s is for Elizabeth Jane married in Truro district June quarter of 1876 - ref Truro 5c 222

However, I think the more likely one is a marriage of Eliza Ann in Dec quarter of 1880 In Southampton ref 2c 96.

If you can Identify which Elizabeth it is I can give details of ancestry.

I have been trying for over four years to find the marriage details for Elizabeth Tregunna and Charles Gaston. I think they were married about 1876 because the first child was born about 1877. Charles was from Sussex and Elizabeth from Cornwall. They had 7 children the first 4 were born in Hampshire, although I can find no records for them. The last 3 were born in Pembrokeshire. Charles was in the Royal Navy and later in the Coast Guards in Wales and a Customs Watcher in Liverpool. I can trace Charles's family but I'm finding it difficult to research Elizabeth's. Can anybody help please.
