Gladys May Washington is the daughter of
William Henry Washington and Annice Chesters.
The only William Henry I have found that matches my criteria is an 'adopted son' found in the Howell household in the 1901 census

William was born c1892 and is the son of Timothy Washington, according to the marriage certificate.

Any information regarding Timothy and / or William would be greatly appreciated.
