Trying to find information on my gt.grandmother's family. She was Julia (Judith) Maria Cassidy, father's name was Owen Cassidy (mother's name unknown) born Kilmainhamwood, Co. Meath about 1834. She married John Yore in 1849 in Kilmainhamwood, Co. Meath Ireland and migrated to Australia about 1877. She had two brothers, Oliver and Joseph and a sister Catherine. These members of her family must have lived in or around the Nobber area as their names appear as sponsors at the baptism of some of the Yore family members. I am looking for information on Julia's father's family, who they were, where they came from; and also her mother's - who was her mother? What happened to her brothers and sister? Do these names ring a bell with anyone? I will be grateful for any information. Thanks Pat Watson |
