Martin Report 26 Dec 2007 20:09

I am researching my Family Tree and have gone back to the following Relation of mine. Can anyone provide information on this Johnston Family Tree? Robert Johnston Born in North Tyrone in 1796, but lived near Sligo. Married Jennie O'Connor. They had 6 children, 4 boys and two Girls. James, Jonas, George, Robert, Daughter1 and Daughter2 (names not known) Robert and Jennie settled in Ballyglass, Curry (outside Charlestown) as a tenant in the Palmer Estate. Robert was a Protestant - but it is believed that he was converted to Catholicism on his deathbed. In the 1851 Census, Robert had 40 acres with his Son James. Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Regards,

Martin (Johnson) - surname changed by Grandfather from Johnston
