Hi there, my someone in my family was called Henry Walter. He was born around 1851 in Middlesex. He has a few brothers and one of them is called Albert. Maybe there's a connection.

I am trying to trace the history of my father's side of the family who originate from Gravesend, Kent. My grandfather was Albert Alfred Walter, born 21/12/1902. He was a Customs officer in Gravesend. My grandmother was Norah Marjorie Louise Miller, born 02/02/1905 in Gravesend. They were married at East Ham Parish church in 1932. Albert's father is named as Henry Walter and Norah's as Harry(?) Miller. Both were deceased at the time of the wedding but they were both described as Customs officers which is how my grandparents met, so i'm told. I have found some census information but can not confirm the links. Any information would be appreciated.
