Find Ancestors

Hi I am looking for relatives of The Bowyer family, who are in my family tree. I know rather little about this side of the family, but am keen to know more. My Great Grandmother was born Alice Maud Bowyer, circa. 1875. She married Joshua Fazey at Marylebone Register Office, London, in 1903. At the time of the marriage Alice Maud Bowyer was registered as living at 116 Harley St, London. Once married, Joshua and Alice lived together at 28 Wanless Road, East Brixton, Lambeth, London. Joshua and Alice had the following children together: Winifred Constance Fazey (my Grandmother). Winifred was born at 28 Vine Street, Romford, Essex. The birth was registered at 12th July 1903, although Joshua and Alice married on 11th July 1903, so there may be some discrepancy here.. Francis William Fazey (My Great Uncle) was born 21st December 1905 at 28 Wanless Road, East Brixton, Lambeth, London (where Joshua and Alice now lived together). Doris Mary Fazey (My Great Aunt) Born 2nd February 1908 at 28 Wanless Road, East Brixton, Lambeth. Lilian Eleanor Fazey (My Great Aunt) Born 19th June, 1910, 28 Wanless Road, East Brixton / Herne Hill. They may have gone on to have more children. Joshua Fazey was a widower when he married Alice Maud Bowyer, and had the following children from his first marriage to Harriet Martha Fazey (formerly Short): Henry Stephen Fazey, Born January 1879 at 38 Hatfield St, Christ Church, Surrey (London) Edith Ellen Fazey, Born 3rd January 1881 at 38 Hatfield Street, Christ Church, Surrey (London) Francis William Fazey, Born 18th August 1882 at 38 Hatfield Street, Christ Church, Surrey, London (I believe he may have died at an early age, as Joshua Fazey went on have another child called Francis William in his second marriage) Annie Fazey, Born 21st March, 1885 at The General ? Hospital, York Road, London Alice Maud’s eldest daughter, Winifred Constance Fazey got married to Thomas John Valentine Knights in 1921. They moved from London to Dover and they had the following children: Donald John Knights, born 1921 (London) Pauline Winifred Knights, born 1927 (Dover), died in 1935 of meningitis Peter Brian Knights (My father) born April 1935 (Dover). Died in 1982. Winifred Constance Knights and Thomas John Valentine Knights separated after 1935 and later divorced. Thomas John Valentine Knights married Miriam D Bell in 1944. I have searched records to see if Winifred Constance Knights (or Fazey) remarried, but have found nothing so far. My father did not know his Gradmother’s side of his family at all, as his parents separated when he was very young. I am keen to find out more about Alice Fazey (nee Bowyer) and the Bowyer side of my family. If you know anything about any of the above, or think you may be able to help, please get in touch!
