Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	My Great Grandmother was born Florence Helen (or Ellen) Bower in Jan 1896 She was called Florrie, married Sidney Redmond in Newport South Wales, Father was called John Bower who was a journeyman Carpenter at the time of marriage in 1919 We believe she was born in London, I have potential mother called Susan Booty, however we don;t know as her mother died when she was about 7 or 8 I think, and John remarred. We think that's when they moved to Wales She had sisters Gertie (Gertrude) Madge Elsie & Brothers Will & Ralph. She was the oldest There are links to South Wales & London (Ilford/Romford) One sister's married name was Dangerfield & she definitely lived in Essex I have a vast tree on the other side (Redmond) but can;t track down Florrie's family Anyone out there??
