Sue, I have a James Neal b 1856 in my family, my gr grandfather, his father Edward was possibly from Cork in Ireland he married Ann Farrow. James was born in St George Stepney, London E. he married Sarah Winter they had about 14 children of about 9 survived one of their daughters, Elizabeth b1903 (my grandmother) married George Jefferson. I'm trying to find the Neal side of the family as not much is known about them, the copies of birth/marriage certificate I have seem to have the spelling of Neal or Neale. Don't know if this info is of any use. Regards Jan

Looking for any info of Neal family. Timothy Neal c1818 from Clonakilty Cork Ireland married Ellen Donavan c 1821 also from Clonakilty moved to London had Ellen b 7/3/1853 who married Thomas Gregory from Scotland (poss), they then had a daughter Ellen b 1/3/1877. They worked at Covent Garden as costermongers, fruit sellers and also celery sellers obtaining this from Scotland, maybe this might make sense to someone, I hope. Thanks Sue
