Dear Jean,

I am trying to find a set of MCMAHON twins born around 1928/30 in Ireland. One was called Anne and the other Mary. I am not too sure but they may have come from the Kinvara area of GALWAY but i have found that the MCMAHONS also lived in LIMERICK. It is said they went on to become domestice at a very young age. Other surnames that are found to be connected are KAVANAGH, SHEEHAN, MAHON, BARRY, PURCELL, LYONS AND DONOGHUE. If any of this rings a bell could you please get in touch? Many thanks.

Jean

Jean Report 29 Oct 2006 13:43

Hi, I am trying to find any relatives of Helen McMahon, who married my grandfather, Peter O'Rourke, at St Patrick's Park Place Church in Liverpool on 1 or 21 November in 1891. Her father's name was Michael McMahon of 19 Willoughby Street, Liverpool. My Grandfather's address at that time was 58 Wolf Street. My mother, Helen Veronica O'Rourke came from the Edge Hill/Wavertreee area of Liverpool (d.o.b. 23 November 1905). Her sister's name was Catherine and had several other siblings including John and Pop (Peter). My mother had twins and I believe there were several sets of twins in the McMahon side of the family. Would love to hear any info on this side of the family as have recently realised, I know very little about my maternal grandmother. Best wishes, Jean
