Member Since: May 2004 Posts: 27 Send Message	I am looking for a family called Stehr from Norwood whose name was often written down as Steer. Ulrich C 1886, William H 1888, Edith E 1889, Frederick H 1891, Dora 1893, Harold 1895 and Herbert N 1898. Their uncles were Frederick 1868, William 1866 and Henry 1863 , all born in London and I believe used the German spelling Stehr rather than Steer. I also believe that some of them could have emigrated so they could be in Australia or America. If anyone recognises any of these people please contact me. I have a few leads but would like some more if possible. Thank you. June.

Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 3 Send Message	dear june, I recently started researching my mothers family (Steer) and have found a William Steer born in 1866, I don't know if this is the one you're looking for, he was married in 1888 in Hammersmith, London to Eliza Lee, he was my mothers grandfather.
