Hi Gemma
Bear with me on this, we seem to have that story in our family. My dad was Henry james Hicks 1918-1987. and we think our grandad went down with his ship!

Re: Albert Edward Hicks. Hi, I am searching for more information regarding my Grt Grandfather Albert, I know that he died on October 14th 1939 when he went down with his ship, HMS Royal Oak. I am trying to find out his date of birth and the names of his parents. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you Gemma
