I then manually checked the page for John William Christian in the second quarter of 1865 and found the same information. Unfortunately, his record does not appear to have been transcribed, but it appears in the images

I am trying to find out a maiden name for someone in my tree. Her name was Emma and she was born in 1847 in the Broadbottom/Glossop area (I think). She married a John William Christian from Huddersfield. It has been suggested that she was Emma Willis but I can't find any census information on ancestry as to this being her maiden name. I know she lived in Glossop in 1868 when her first child Jane was born. Any help would be much appreciated or any suggestions of places where I can get this information. Thanks Diana
