Well, it's very unlikely we have a link but it's the william part of the name which made me think.
I am looking for a william oakley....here is what i have so far!
my direct line is a henry (b. 1824). henry married twice, once to charotte doughtey, who dies, then to sarah ann stubbs..
now then....i looked for baptisms of henry's in bilston and found a henry with a father william (we know this from wedding certificate), mother is simply 'mary'
i have failed to find a wedding so far but i guess it would be around about 1820 because william and mary baptised three other boys at the same church, thomas (1820) my henry (1824), josiah (1827) and william (1829).
i still don't know for sure that my william is the same that baptised the henry (and the rest).
What I do know is, I am stuck and need to find my william and mary???!!!

ive just had a look at the 1911 cencus and it seems there were more children Lily oakley1904 Charlie Oakley 1906 and Thomas Oakley 1910,can anyone help Please!

Alfred Lyonal Oakley wife Agness no surname,they lived in Iverson road around 1939.
Dorothy kate Oakley havent got her husbands name,only that they lived in the west end of london.

hi my name is richard im trying to find any family or ancestors of a sidney earnest oakley born in 1907 kilburn n/w london he had three brothers and two sisters i only know of a cyril /lyonal and a sister gert another brother fredrick william .he died in the 1st world war .he was in the lancashire fusslears.and another sister called gert she married a frank got no surname for him. and they had a son called cyril and a daughter called gwen.ive got sidney earnest oakley birth certificate today and on it .it says his father was fredrick william oakley and his mother was jane piggott. does it ring any bells with anyone?
