Looking for a marriage for Mary Addison b. Richmond Yorks to James Griffiths b West Brom. They were living in South Shields at the time of their first childs birth 1873. Mary also had a son before her marriage also born South Shield 1872. There are lots of James Griffiths in the midlands area and a marriage certificate would hopefully discover the name of his father. They settled in Stockton and he is on mt grandmothers marriage certificate - not as deceased- in 1904 but I have been unable to find a record of his death. Family rumour has it that he died 'away' from Stockton but where? Regards Margaret Alderson |
