I am trying to find more information on a William Fifield, born abt. 1705 in or around Witney, Oxford. He was married to an Elizabeth Phipps(Philips) In 1728 and they had a child William. I also have two early ancestors, John Fifield (b.1835) & Jonas Fifield (b. 1840) in Kidlington, Oxforshire. They were brothers and evidently emigrated from England with their families in 1875 to the South Island of New Zealand. I would be very interested in hearing what became of them as I have no other records. |
