I am looking for my great grandfather whose surname was Blackwell probably born around 1876 in the Derby/Nottingham area. I don't know his first name but he married a Mary Allen from Derbyshire and they had a son called Ernest Blackwell born in 1895. Ernest was brought up by his grandparents and his father disappeared. I have yet to find Ernests birth certificate which would give me the details of his name etc. If this rings a bell please let me know ! Thanks Dawn. |
