KEND/KENDE I have recently found out the sirname of my grandfather 'KEND' who conceived a daughter called Elizabeth with a woman called Merryl Gwaitha. This is all of the information that I have - My Grandfather was a seacaptain and so its very likely that he docked in Cardiff and actually lived abroad. I think that the sirname has hungarian origins. I have been doing many searches and nothing seems to be showing up. It seems that Kend is a very unusual sirname in the UK. It is possible that my grandfather went on to have other chilldren/ a wife/ family in the Uk. Are you a Kend/ Kende? Do you know of any Kends? I am eager to trace my new-found descent. I didn't get to meet my grandfather and i feel as if there has always been a puzzle piece missing. If anyone knows ANYTHING that they think could be of help, please let me know. Anything would be of help. Thanks very much.
