Hi Tracy, I have just come across your thread regarding the mullins family tree, i am not related but i did use to live on the same street as a roy mullins and his family in rotherham. I dont know if there is any connection to your family but you never know. I know Roy worked at beatson clark for a number of years, but sadly died about 2 years ago. He also had a brother who had quite a good job with the council, but i cant remember his name. Hope this helps vanessa.

Hi Tracy

You might remember me from way back. I have Mullins ancestors in Harthill and we exchanged a few messages. I would think with all the research means available these days, you have probably come across this by now, but just in case you haven't - have you considered George Mullins, born c. 1839 in Wadworth, son of Joseph and Hannah ? He appears in the 1841 and 1851 censuses. I was interested to see that Joseph was a shoemaker, like my ancestors, so started to wonder if there was any connection further back, but looking at Familysearch I couldn't see any reason to think there was one.

I expect you have all this by now, anyway.

All the best

Lynda

I'm looking for an Edward Mullins/Mullings. I don't know when or where he was born but he married Emily Heard in 1868 in Exeter, Devon.
I belive they were in the circus as Edwards profession on my Great Grandads birth cert is ACROBAT.
They had 3 children that I know of,
Lucy Mullings Born 1877
Edward Mullings Born 22/12/1880 Exeter Devon
and my Great Grandad Joseph Mullins Born 30/07/1893 Whimple Devon.

In the 1901 census Edward, Emily and Joseph are living in Cardiff. Edward also eventually died in Cardiff in 1914.

My Great Grandad eventually moved to Birmingham and married in 1915.

I have many gaps in my tree when it comes to this line, does anyone know anything about them??

This letter is just below your own.
Regards Joyce.

I am trying to find relatives of George MULLINS who died in Sheffield workhouse in 1899 aged 65. His wife was Jane Furniss (d.1879), they had a son (George Henry) b.1876 in Rotherham. George was born around 1834 but I have no record of his birth, don't know his mum's name but his dad was Joseph MULLINS. Not sure if there were any siblings of George. Looking for any info.
