See if you can find a contact for COLIN GRAY in NZ, he has done extensive research on the DALTON/Seery/Gray familes who are all connected. I THINK he may have published a book on it, not sure though, I am part of the Australian Dalton Clan, our ancestors came from Ireland. or you could contact Geraldine Dalton, whose name I saw on this list on page one, she is very knowledgeable on our ancestry, far more than I am.. Mr gr gr grand father was Mathew Dalton, married Jane Elizabeth Greer and they had 16 children and I dont know what their names were, Geraldine might.

Kia ora i am trying to find, Thomas Daltons, Parents, they were in Melbourne, He was a Horse Trader, he then moved to New Zealand. He came to NZ around 1840's, and died in 1881. He had four children, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary and Richard, where they lived in Auckland he worked as a coachman. His wife was Ann Wells from up North, in Rawhiti.
