Her father was called William Mason and mother was Ethel. that is all info we have of her so if you have any info i would love to hear it. Jean had a brother called Malcolm( i beleive is still alive) they all lived in Essex and Kent

The Essex pubs website lists the following:- 1861/William Mason/innkeeper/41/Langdon Hills, Essex/Census 1861/Elizabeth Mason/wife/40/Writtle, Essex/Census 1861/Lucy Ann Mason/daughter, scholar/12/Laindon, Essex/Census 1861/Maria Mason/daughter, scholar/07/Laindon, Essex/Census 1861/James C Mason/son, scholar/05/Laindon, Essex/Census 1861/John A Mason/son/02/Vange, Essex/Census 1861/Emma Elizabeth Mason/daughter/7m/Vange, Essex/Cen All born in or near Laindon in Essex.
