william Cartlidge did have a Robert and some of this family members went living in Leek ,
its strange how this family followed my inlaws one even to marrying sisters , living in the same street, i have a lot of info on this family,

hi I'm trying to trace Robert Cartlidge who i believe was born in Cheadle, staffordshire around 1829. He moved to derby sometime before the 1851 census and worked as a silk weaver. On his marriage certificate his father's name is William. any info most appreciated! best wishes Anna Greene
