Hi Gill, your mesage caught my eye.
Firstly:
In my family tree a MIss Flood married a Francis MacDonnell (b. 1766), in Ireland. This was posibly in the Cork area.
Secondly:
As I type this message I am about 15 mins walk away from St Likes Road! They are small Victorian terraces on the border between Bedminster and Totterdown
Thirdly :
I was at Junior School with a Gillian Bennett in the 1950'/60', Wyke Regis Dorset! Was that you?

Trying to find Mary Flood. born 1864 in Dublin, Ireland married Owen Bennett lived in Exeter where first child Ernest was born moved to Bristol - second child Agnes born here 1901 census has Mary living with Owen Bennett, Ernest and Agnes at 34 St Luke's Road Bedminster, Bristol. I am trying to trace her whereabouts before marrying Owen Bennett - how did she get to Exeter - who were her family ???? Can anyone help with this? many thanks Gill
