I am trying to find further information on the 'Lennoxtown Donnachies'. (Lennoxtown is only a few miles Northeast of Glasgow). My Grandfather, Thomas, was named after his father who, apparently; originated from Ireland. He had six siblings, James, Polly, Alphoncis, William, Sally and Louis; all of whom would probably have been born toward the end of the 1800's or in the early part of the 1900's. Thomas married Jane (Jayne?) Carlin and together they had Janet, William (my father) Mary and John. My birth name was Thomas Douglas Donnachie, dob 3rd March 1954 to William Joseph Donnachie and Joan Atkinson. I have some information on all of the above names and I am particularly interested in the 'Irish Connection'; it is very interesting. Any further information or any requests for information will be welcomed!
